Josephine Jones, Owner & Head Designer of Eventi, explains why she became a dream maker.

As far back as she can remember, Josephine Jones has always held a desire to help others. Like many other experts in the event planning industry, Josephine uncovered her passion for event planning and decorating while planning a major event in her own life. Since coordinating her own wedding, Josephine has carried a torch for planning and decorating. Over the years Josephine has developed a breadth of knowledge and expertise in planning weddings and other special events.

After coordinating several events for friends and family members, Josephine made the decision to dedicate her life to event planning when she returned to school and completed certifications in floral design, wedding & event planning.

Josephine established Eventi, formerly Exquisite Primal Planners, approximately 10 years ago. When Josephine initially started her company, she specialized in floral arrangements and deliveries. Over the years Josephine has worked with some of the most well known and talented event vendors in the Capital Region. Ten years later, Eventi has grown from deliveries and floral arrangements to a full service event planning company. Combined with her extensive years of public service and event planning; Josephine has acquired a wealth of experience in program development, networking, budgeting, and event research. Josephine's formal education coupled with her invaluable real-life experience has made Eventi one of the top wedding and event planning companies in the Capital Region of New York.

Josephine has an extensive history of being a world traveler. She has traveled everywhere from Nigeria to Switzerland. These life experiences have helped Josephine to discover culture outside of the norm and has provided her with a strong sense of cultural diversity which she uses to better understand her clients. Eventi welcomes diversity and ensures that all of the certified staff of event planners shares this vision.

Event Planner Marcia Chandler believes,

For many years Marcia helped friends and family plan their weddings until she decided to expand and take wedding planning on as (an additional) career. For over 15 years she has been planning and coordinating weddings, parties and special events. Marcia’s enthusiasm and excitement is infectious. She prides herself in being detail-oriented, prompt, and available. Marcia is friendly, compassionate and patient and does everything that needs to be done from the beginning to the “fabulous end”….from set up to clean up.

As a result of her engaging personality and her commitment to her assignment, Marcia has a gift for making her clients feel at ease and confident that their dream day will be everything they envisioned it to be and more. Even when the unexpected arise, Marcia remains “calm under pressure” and works tirelessly to make sure everything is handled professionally.

Marcia’s experience expands from Upstate New York to New Jersey, New York City, and the Bahamas. She also has established relationships with DJ’s, caterers, photographers, hairstylists and make-up artists that are committed and dependable.
